Africa Circular’s multi-country assignment for the African Development Bank focused on national circular economy roadmaps for Benin, Cameroon, Chad, Ethiopia and Uganda.
The scope covered sector prioritisation, policy and institutional analysis, stakeholder consultation and capacity-building. Each roadmap was designed around the country’s own opportunities, constraints and implementation needs.
The work included proposals for governance arrangements and implementation steps. Its purpose was to support national ownership and provide practical direction for the transition; publication of a roadmap does not by itself demonstrate implementation or impact.
